Film synopsis:

My aim for this project is to make, a horror/thriller film that has a very extreme result due to bullying. This will include very emotional situations where we see somebody feeling distressed because she was being bullied and left out and we see what it causes her to do. The dialogue will be just powerful music and we will try to get people to understand the message and storyline through emotion rather than words. I have an idea to put music that’s very intense and powerful but I also want parts where we can see things are emotional, I also had the idea of just sounds such as footprints by themselves to create the empty feeling she must have had. this will also help develop sympathy and emotions over what they are witnessing throughout the video. The music and sound will help set the mood that I aim to create. The point of this is to let people into the life of the character and understand the struggles and problems the girl faces. In addition to this I want this to result in anyone who is facing these problems to know, they are not alone, and there is so many worse things that could’ve happened to them so to not let it get the best of you and lead to worse things.

The logline:

After a long struggle and a lot of great sadness and frustration lexi decides that she is done. She knows that as a young group of 17 year olds they wont listen and she cant do much to stop the bullies. So she ets somebody bigger and stronger to take them down and under for good.

screenplay structure:

Act 1:

They’re watching a movie she gets left out.

Act 2:

Lexi goes to get a drink and top up her friends drinks but realises they don’t deserve it so she leaves

Act 3:

Shes walking home contacting someone unknown (the hooded figure)

She goes into a room and receives a call

Act 3:

She storms away from them when they’re making fun of her and she get angry in the toilets throwing things. Lexi then gets a call.

Act 4:

Meets hooded figure and he follows the bullies around

Act 5: bullies are murdered

Act 6:

He kills himself due to the guilt of the murder and we see a vicious cycle.

after the unexpected turn occurs on lexis life, she decides that the only way out of it is to kill the people who are hurting her the most. But she realises she cant do it herself and hires someone to do it for her so her hands are somewhat cleaner.

6. Target audience:

my target audience is going to be more specifically around both genders and ages 15 and up. with the target audiences age in mind, the psychographics of my target audience, would vary from: reformers, stragglers, and potentially explorers. when looking at the demographics of my audience, the social grades would vary around grades E ( people who depend on the welfare state for their income) and grade D (unskilled manual workers). personally, i think the unique selling point of my film, would be when travis plans the murder of annalise and beth in preparation to kill for lexi.
